Management

Edgar Ross

Edgar Ross, MD, is Chairman and Chief Medical Officer of TheraNetrix. Dr. Ross is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. He is a renowned pain expert, specializing in areas such as chronic pain, spinal conditions, and vascular pain. Dr. Ross has been involved in medical innovation, including the development of devices for patients with neuromuscular disorders and the formation of digital health companies focused on pain and mental health treatment. He is the author of over 100 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Ross is the co-developer of the MobileNetrix patient-facing application, which he invented and co-developed when he was Director of the Pain Management Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. TheraNetrix has licensed MobileNetrix from Massachusetts General Brigham for use in the TheraNetrix Clinical Decision Support System.

David Guydan is President and CEO of TheraNetrix. He brings critical leadership and commercialization expertise to the TheraNetrix venture. Mr. Guydan has extensive experience in creating new businesses, achieving business turnarounds, and business development for sustained growth. His experience extends to articulating corporate vision, formulating strategic plans, leading business/product development, launching integrated marketing programs, and effectively utilizing business resources to achieve immediate and long-term results. His industry experience includes biotechnology services, electronic payment systems, institutional investments, and information services with organizations ranging from start-ups to money center banks. He holds a BA in economics from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Robert Jamison

Robert Jamison, PhD, is Chief Scientific Officer of TheraNetrix, Inc. Dr. Jamison is a Professor at Harvard Medical School with appointments in the Departments of Anesthesiology, Psychiatry, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a clinical psychologist with principal offices in the Brigham and Women’s Pain Management Center. His past research has focused on the examination of predictors of opioid abuse in chronic pain patients. He has been a principal investigator on several NIH-funded projects, has been on the Editorial Boards of five scientific journals, and has held board and leadership positions in many regional, national, and international pain organizations. He has authored two books and over 300 peer-reviewed articles in the areas of behavioral medicine and chronic pain. Together with Dr. Ross, he is the inventor and co-developer of the MobileNetrix patient-facing application

Robert Carr is Senior Advisor to TheraNetrix, Inc. and Chairman and CEO of In Silico Biosciences, Inc. (ISB). Mr. Carr is a seasoned entrepreneur focused on maximizing the effective use of human intellectual capital. In 2000, after identifying computational neuropharmacology as the opportunity for such development in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Carr began successfully organizing and developing ISB. ISB uses its advanced mathematical modeling techniques, combined with the academic discipline of computational neurosciences, to focus on pharmaceutical research and drug development. In 2020, ISB joined nine European institutions in a five-year European Union-funded pain relief project in which the ISB computational models were employed for identifying optimal, personalized, combination drug treatment of pain patients. The resulting ISB Pain Management Service drives the Prescribing Support Tool, which is licensed to TheraNetrix for its TheraNetrix Clinical Decision Support System. Mr. Carr has a BS in mathematics from the University of California, Riverside, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Clinician Advisory Panel

The Clinician Advisory Panel was formed to collaborate in the development of a “Prescribing Support Tool” designed to advance state-of-the-art combination drug treatment options for chronic pain patients. The Prescribing Support Tool is a user-friendly computer-based aid in the hands of clinicians for improved patient outcomes and greater patient satisfaction. The Tool is integrated into the TheraNetrix Clinical Decision Support System as the clinician interface, which, combined with the MobileNetrix patient-facing application and informed by AI and Digital Twin computer models for personalized medicine, revolutionizes evidence-based treatment of patients with chronic pain.
